Mrs. Marcella C. Ginn, 68, of Rt. 1, Fortville, formerly of Ladoga, died at 2:40 p.m. Friday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Donald Kellermeyer, also of Rt. 1, Fortville. Death followed a long illness. A native of Ladoga, she was a daughter of Claude and Nora Warbinton Freeman and was born July 21, 1900. She married James Ginn on Nov. 14, 1917. He died in June, 1967. They lived in Ladoga until 1920 and in 1920-30 in Hamilton County, and since that time resided in Hancock County. In 1943-53 Mrs. Ginn was office manager of the Fortville Tribune. She wrote two columns for the newspaper, "The Things I See and Hear" and "The Farmer's Wife." She was a member of the Fortville Christian Church and active in its choir, a 45-year member of Fortville OES Chapter 149 and member of its Past Matrons Club. Surviving besides the daughter at whose home she died are two other daughters, Mrs. Genevieve Cowan of Rt. 4, Crawfordsville, and Mrs. Barbara Hochstedler of Knoxville, Tenn.; a sister, Mrs. Margie Horton of Carmel, and six grandchildren. Funeral services are at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Fortville Christian Church with the pastor, Rev. Gilbert R. Schreiber, officiating, and burial in Gravel Lawn Cemetery there. The body will lie in state at the church an hour preceding the services. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Saturday at Ronald Seals Funeral Home in Fortville. - jlr
